Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Manage and oversee social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube etc.).
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our web traffic and brand awareness.
- Content Creation and Design:
- Create visually appealing and engaging content including graphics, videos, and photos.
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for various social media platforms.
- Design promotional materials, infographics, and other visual content to support marketing campaigns.
- Content Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting.
- Write compelling and creative copy for social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns.
- Research and Analysis:
- Create and manage a social media calendar.
- Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences.
- Analyse social media metrics and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Identify strategies to increase views, likes, shares, and followers.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead.
- Community Engagement:
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Foster a positive community and add value to the user experience.
- Ads and marketing:
- Create and manage social media ads.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Proficient in using social media platforms and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Strong design skills with proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.
