Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management:
    • Manage and oversee social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube etc.).
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our web traffic and brand awareness.
  2. Content Creation and Design:
    • Create visually appealing and engaging content including graphics, videos, and photos.
    • Edit and produce high-quality videos for various social media platforms.
    • Design promotional materials, infographics, and other visual content to support marketing campaigns.
  3. Content Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting.
    • Write compelling and creative copy for social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns.
  4. Research and Analysis:
    • Create and manage a social media calendar.
    • Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences.
    • Analyse social media metrics and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
    • Identify strategies to increase views, likes, shares, and followers.
    • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead.
  5. Community Engagement:
    • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
    • Foster a positive community and add value to the user experience.
  6. Ads and marketing:
    • Create and manage social media ads.
    • Manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Strong design skills with proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.
